September Could Be Cooler
The really wonderful thing about the Internet is it allows us to all become publishers. Egg heads call this “democratization of the media” but regular people (like me) think of it as their humble chance to speak to the world. September Could Be Cooler is my platform for this exercise; it’s my chance to speak to the world.
But that all seems a bit stuffy and formal.
I can be a bit stuffy and formal but I’ll be working on that. I promise.
September Could Be Cooler will focus on the things I’m interested in, like technology, online gaming, the news industry, politics and maybe even the Cleveland Cavaliers. It will also focus on what it’s like to be a guy in the Midwest.
With all due respect to the many excellent bloggers churning out content from their smoking keyboards, there’s an honest lack of guy content in blogs. Oh, I don’t mean there isn’t stuff that appeals to guys. In fact, one of my favorite bloggers, Va from Violent Acres, writes some pretty amazing content that’s always appealed to me. What I *do* mean is it seems as if there isn’t much from a guy’s perspective.
It’s a hole I couldn’t hope to fill; however, I can at least add a shovel full of what I consider to be interesting. That’s the thing about the Internet – the democratization of the media – it isn’t about one person or group controlling all the available content. Instead it’s about individuals willing to create their own content. September Could Be Cooler is my content. And, if you decide you like it, you’re welcome to come along.
