At the United Nation’s General Assembly’s annual debate UN Chief Ban Ki-moon called for “global leadership.”
Speaking on the theme of global governance, he said, “Nations can no longer protect their interests, or advance the well-being of their people, without the partnership of the rest.”
He also spoke about the need for “global leadership” to tackle the world’s problems.
On the theme of big domestic governments Ki-moon said, “We need a new understanding on business ethics and governance, with more compassion and less uncritical faith in the ‘magic’ of markets.”
