Gravity
Most of us think of gravity as the force that gives objects weight. It’s the “thing” that pulls objects downward; the thing that causes many tasks to be backbreaking.
But, what if instead of a force, it is in fact a pathway along which objects travel. What if, as the earth travels through space, it creates a pathway that’s sloped inward, pulling objects toward it. Objects on the earth would thus be pulled toward the center of the earth.
Anyone who’s studied general relativity should be familiar with this; however, I still think it’s pretty neat.
Additional thoughts:
1.) Since the earth travels the same circular path, would it create a circular pattern of suction, such as water running down a drain. And, if it does, do objects follow in increasingly tighter pathways and at faster speeds the closer they get to the earth?
2.) If the earth operates in this fashion, might the entire Milky Way or even the entire universe?
